Portbou, border with France.
Physical and language border.
The invisible stories that the wind takes.
Let’s look for the stories that are hidden in the streets, beaches and tiles of Portbou. We will place Portbou on a physical map and draw those routes that only exist in the stories of the people. We will ask for the recipes that are counted and not written. We will look in which places the life of Portbou is visualized by its wear. We will talk about data, people, towns and borders. And we will make visible, the invisible. With all this, we will create something in Portbou for Portbou. Something that stays and that speaks of the town. New monuments beyond Benjamin’s.
